ARTICATZ VOLLEYBALL CLUB

of the Upper Peninsula Michigan

The Articatz club volleyball program is one we feel has a great deal to offer each athlete, we hope to show that Articatz is worthy of your commitment.  Over the past seven years we have been helping youth girls and high school volleyball players learn and enjoy the game of volleyball.  We plan to contiue our growth the season and build on the solid foundation that has been established in the previous years.  The expectations of the programs are: elite level of execution of basic skills, groom athletes for future contention for State Titles and prepare them for life off the court.  Since 2002 Coach Hruska has been coaching and training the area's youth and high school athletes to compete at the highest level.  In seven years Coach Hruska's club program has been instrumental in providing 14 athletes an opportunity to continue their playing careers and education in college.

 RECRUITING COMBINE 

Our second annual recruiting combine ~ The girls will be tested on their physical

abilities and strengths and on their skills in volleyball

Date: December 6, 2008

"UP EXPOSURE CLASSIC" 

Our first annual "UP EXPOSURE CLASSIC ~ The best of the UP varsity players will 

display their talents on the court in a competition.  They will be able to display their

ability to college coaches and avid volleyball fans.

The "Junior Spikers" (7th/8th grade) will start after basketball season

Gwinn/Superior Central/Gladstone Area Players

Dates: Nov. 18th and end on Dec. 16th

Location Days & Times: The "W", Tuesdays 6:30-8pm

 

Marquette/Negaunee/Ishpeming Area Players

Dates: Nov. 14th and end on Dec. 19th

 Location, Days & Times: Baraga Gym (in MQT), Friday 6:30-8pm
